Chesapeake Housing Mission, a growing and vibrant non-profit organization located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, is seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Director to lead our mission of providing critical home repair services to those in need.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record in
fundraising, strategic leadership, operations management, and
public speaking, who is committed to making a meaningful difference in
our community.
Full-Time | Flexible Hours | Remote Work Option
Salary: $65,000+ (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary and strategic leadership to advance the mission of Chesapeake Housing Mission.
- Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors on governance, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the organization, including programs, staff, and volunteers.
- Ensure the financial health of the organization through fundraising, budgeting, and financial oversight.
- Cultivate strong relationships with donors, community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the organization publicly through media, events, and speaking engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proven non-profit leadership experience with strong fundraising and development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations, lead teams, and work with diverse community partners.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Must reside in one of the following counties: Dorchester, Somerset, Sussex, Wicomico, or Worcester.
