Wicomico CARE 2015
Wicomico County, MD – In collaborative partnership with Catholic Charities Seton Center, SHORE UP! INC., Wicomico County Department of Social Services and supported by local utility companies including Choptank Electric Cooperative, Chesapeake Utilities and Delmarva Power, Telamon Corporation invites individuals and families who live, work and/or play in Wicomico County to attend the first annual Wicomico Community Access Resource Expo (CARE). Open between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., on Monday, February 29th, 2016 and located in the One Stop Job Market in Salisbury, Maryland you will be able to learn more about the resources and opportunities in Wicomico County. More than 20 local agencies and organizations will be available.
Come learn about child and adult care, food assistance, job training, or other help with local service/resource providers, employers and utility companies. Information will be available for buying a home, health concerns, legal issues and learning new skills. Look for a new job in DLLR Job Search Center. Office of Home Energy Program Assistance applications will be screened on-site. Spanish and Haitian- Creole Translators will be available all day from Telamon.
