Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 25th to participate in our local Make a Difference Day with Delmarva Media Group.
This year the Delmarva Media Group team will partner with Habitat for Humanity.
Duties will include painting & landscapting from 9 - 12 pm at two renovation locations in Salisbury.
- One project is to help renovate a home that was donated to Habitat, for a family of 6 who have lived in the Church St neighborhood for 8 years and have outgrown their smaller home. They have been exemplary homeowners and also do outreach in the community. Additionally, their current home will be going to a local mother and her 9-year old daughter.
- The 2nd project is for a single mother and her 3 children, one of whom is a 16 year old with severe autism. His older sister is currently in graduate school studeying to help people with autism.
