Position: Daytime Drop-In Center Volunteer
Location: Salisbury, MD
Overview:
Our Arts & Media Drop-In Center provides a safe and supportive space for teens and young adults to hang out, socialize, and access resources. As a volunteer, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming environment and engaging with our visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors as they arrive and help them feel welcome
- Engage in conversations and build relationships with visitors
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up activities
- Help with food and drink service
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized space
- Provide information about resources and services available to visitors
- Attend volunteer meetings and training as required
Requirements:
- Must be at least 20 years old
- Ability to interact positively with a diverse group of visitors
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Comfortable with basic technology
- Respect for confidentiality and privacy
Time Commitment:
Volunteers are needed for weekday and weekend days from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Shifts are a minimum of 2 hours.
