This May is Women Build 2019. Come out and volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County and be a part of our Women Build. Women Build challenges women to devote at least one day this May 4th-31st to create simple, decent and affordable housing here in Wicomico County. We are looking for 150 women to join us for this build. Don't have any construction experience? That's okay! Men are also welcome. We are building each Thursday, Friday and Saturday in May. We are constructing a home for a partner family. This family's rental housing is being torn down and they need to move into their new home by September 1st.
Have a team? Your competitive spirit can raise money to furnish needed materials for the build. The team that raises the most money will win The Tacky Hammer Award, a coveted plaque that will remain with the winning team for a full year.

Women must be 18 years old & up to use power tools, or 16 years old to be on the job site. Registration on site at 8 am and 12 noon for afternoon shift
