Description

The SU Volunteer Center is partnering with Junior Achievement and we could use your help! Junior Achievement's goal is to teach students from a young age the importance of economics through meaningful life lessons, involving money! If you have a passion for working with students, math, and/or finances then this is a great way to give back to the Salisbury community.

Junior Achievement provides a detailed lesson plan and materials for you and will provide a 30 minute training on campus prior to your volunteering to ensure you are fully prepared to teach the lesson. Worried about leading a classroom lesson on your own? Don't sweat it! Each lesson is ONLY 45 minutes long and the teacher will remain in the classroom to help! You are even encouraged to bring a friend.

Help is desperately needed at Prince Street on May 7th from 8:45-11:00am. If you would like to lend a helping hand please contact Mary Holden at mary.holden@ja.org.
