Ride for the Feast is our largest annual fundraiser. Throughout the year, riders raise $1,500 each and then embark on a 2-day, 140-mile Maryland bike ride from Ocean City to Baltimore City! RFTF 2018 will take place May 11-13. Moveable Feast has several volunteer opportunities throughout this event!
Pit Stop Crew: Provide snacks, water, first aid and CHEER to cyclists, check in cyclists. 3-5 hour commitment on Saturday. Saturday pit stops run all along the Eastern Shore. Preferable for a group of 5-10 to run pit stops.
SAG Drivers: Safety and Gear vehicles drive along routes throughout the ride to ensure rider safety and pick riders up as needed.
Friday Night: Check in cyclists, dinner set up and clean up at the American Legion in Ocean City, MD.
Saturday Dinner: Set up and clean up at Talbot County Community Center.
MOTO/Bike Route Safety: Motorcycle safety riders are stationed at more dangerous spots along the ride to guide cyclists along safety. Saturday or Sunday commitment.
Medical Team: Ensure health and safety of cyclists, and make medical decisions as needed. Must have medical experience. Saturday-Sunday commitment.
Ride: You can also be a fundraising rider! To sign up as an individual, start a team, or join someone else's team, please visit www.rideforthefeast.org.
