Love children’s books and sharing story time with little ones? Join us in local elementary schools for Read with Me!
Volunteers are needed to spend 30 minutes a week reading to Pre-K children in elementary classrooms. The program will run weekly through the end of the school year. (If you can commit to bi-weekly instead of weekly, that’s OK, too – just let us know.)
Reading at an early age helps children develop a love of reading while improving early literacy, development, and language skills. Please join us to help our littlest neighbors build the foundation they need to succeed! The program is easy, fun, and guaranteed to bring you a smile!
Volunteers will be matched with a classroom that works for your schedule/location. All volunteers must also pass the county Board of Education's background check. 18+ or high school students with approval.
