The Salisbury Zoo reaching out for volunteers to come help with our annual Halloween Happening event. Our annual Halloween Happening event will take place on Saturday, October 15^th and Saturday October 22^nd from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This event does bring in a large crowd, roughly 1,000 guest each day. We will need to inquire a helping hand for the event days and for the preparation and clean-up; there will be lots of room for volunteer hours. If volunteers work either event day, October 15^th and/or the 22nd, there is a required training that must be done before the event happens. These training days will take place on Wednesday, October 12^th and Wednesday, October 19^th from 5:30 PM till 6:30 PM. Volunteers 14 years of age and younger must have an adult accompany them on days they choose to volunteer. Halloween happening is geared towards children 10 and under, so we ask that all volunteers dress appropriately.
