This virtual presentation will explore the broad history of Salisbury University, from its founding in 1925 as Maryland State Normal School in Salisbury to its rapid expansions in the 21st century. University Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, Jen Piegols, will discuss the inception and early years of Salisbury University as well as highlight some of the major changes that have established SU as a Maryland University of National Distinction.
