Join us for a day of food, fun, fundraising, and Derby-style fashion!
Proceeds from Preakness Palooza benefit United Way's Imagination Library program serving Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties. Registered children receive a free book each month delivered directly to their household. In addition to helping children develop a love of reading, the program is designed to engage parent involvement, prepare children for entry to kindergarten, and enable every household to build their own library. Since launching the program in May of 2012, UWLES has helped to get over 210,000 books into the hands of over 8,500 local children!
