Do-It-Yourself Medicare Enrollment Training Program

Medicare-eligible State of Maryland retirees (age 65 & older) will no longer receive prescription drug coverage under the Maryland State health plan, effective Jan. 1, 2019. These Medicare-eligible State of Maryland retirees have until Dec. 31, 2018, to enroll in a Medicare Part D plan for prescription drugs, at their cost, to ensure there is no gap in their coverage. MAC, Inc., will offer a how-to program for the do-it-yourselfers who would like to handle their Medicare enrollment themselves online. The program will be held from 10 am. to noon on Tuesday, June 12, at MAC, Inc. Space is limited and registration is required for this event. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, June 8.
