Do-It-Yourself Medicare Enrollment Training Program

Medicare-eligible State of Maryland retirees (age 65 & older) will no longer receive prescription drug coverage under the Maryland State health plan, effective Jan. 1, 2019. These Medicare-eligible State of Maryland retirees have until Dec. 31, 2018, to enroll in a Medicare Part D plan for prescription drugs, at their cost, to ensure there is no gap in their coverage. MAC, Inc., will offer a how-to program for the do-it-yourselfers who would like to handle their Medicare enrollment themselves online. The program will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, at MAC, Inc. Space is limited and registration is required for this event. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, June 4.
