Volunteer Roles & Descriptions
Course Marshalls | Sunday, December 3rd
Shift: 11:00am to 2:00pm
Location: Out on the race course
*Ensure course is safe for participants
*Help direct participants at critical turning points
*These roles will be outside on the course and volunteers will be standing during their shift
**Marshalls must be in place along the course by 12:00pm, requiring they arrive on-site no later than 11:30am
*7 volunteers needed
Holiday Cheer Station Host | Sunday, December 3rd
Shift: 11:00am to 2:00pm
Location: Out on the race course
*Cheer along our participants & pass out special holiday treats at one of 5 holiday stations along the course (all supplies will be provided to you)
*These roles will be outside and volunteers will be standing during their shift
*A minimum of 2 volunteers is needed at each station
*2 volunteers needed
After Party Activity Host | Sunday, December 3rd
Shift: 11:00am to 3:00pm
Location: Inside the Starboard
*Assist children & adults with one of the games, crafts or activities in our after party
*Pass out small prizes as appropriate
*Ensure games & activities are played respectfully and area is kept reasonably debris free
*A minimum of 1 volunteer is needed at each station, with a preferred 2 volunteers per station
* 10 volunteers needed
