As the area's official Volunteer Center, United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore offers this free tool for any nonprofit or agency serving our community to use for increasing awareness of your cause, volunteer engagement, event attendance, and in-kind support.
This workshop is designed for new Get Connected users and will cover:
- How volunteers play a key role in your mission
- The essentials of a strong volunteer program
- Growing your Outreach for FREE with Get Connected, including:
- Creating/editing an agency profile
- Sharing & managing volunteer needs:
- Tips for successful posts
- Opportunities for shifts & groups
- Posting/approving volunteer hours
- Using volunteer check-in/checkout
- Exporting volunteer data
- Posting in-kind & employment needs
- Promoting your events & collecting RSVPs
- Spreading the word with social media
