Please Join us, for a fun morning of service to Glean Sweet Potatoes and pie pumpkins for local food pantries. If you are from a pantry, please bring boxes. All are welcome.
We will meet on Monday, November 10, from 9:00am to 11:00 pm at a farm near Hebron.
Here is some important information:
Please bring bottled water and wear closed toe shoes.
There is something for everyone to do, please come and help out, all are welcome!
Also, do not feel obligated to stay for the duration of the gleaning. Come and go as your schedule allows.
Cancellation– If your plans change, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible using the link on this page. If there is threatening weather, we will email you as soon as possible to cancel the gleaning.
What to Wear– Long pants. Always wear closed toe shoes and clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
What to Bring-- Bring buckets if you have one, and some boxes for the sweet potatoes if possible. Please bring bottled water. Bring Gardening gloves, if you have them.
Directions– After you register for the event, you will receive a confirmation e-mail which will contain the address to the farm.
Restrooms-- Please be aware that most farms where gleanings take place do not have a restroom available.
