Welcome to Medicare class

Are you getting ready to start Medicare but don’t know how to go about it? MAC’s Welcome to Medicare class can help! The free class is packed with information designed to help the public have a better understanding of the parts of Medicare and how they work, including timelines, costs, coverages, fraud, Advantage plans, supplemental plans, and what your rights are as a Medicare recipient. Welcome to Medicare is for individuals who are still working, retired or on disability - for anyone who is getting ready to start Medicare. The next class will be held Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. at MAC. Classes are presented by MAC’s State Health Insurance Program (SHIP). Class size is limited, and registration is required.
