The Dorchester County Family YMCA is a not-for-profit charitable community organization located in Cambridge, Maryland.  We currently have approximately 4,000 members.  Our three areas of focus are:  Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

The Dorchester Family YMCA is part a worldwide association of YMCA’s.  The history of the YMCA shows that Ys are for all people of all faiths, races, ages, abilities and incomes.

As the leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y works side-by-side with our neighbors every day to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.  To do our important work, the Y relies on support from members, donors, volunteers and community leaders.

We depend on the local community to support the majority of our operating budget. We encourage members of the community to make tax deductible contributions to the YMCA and to volunteer their time.
