Purity Laundry Project

Purity Laundry Project is a Delaware nonprofit serving under-resourced families in Sussex County. Formerly known as Laundry Love Sussex, we work to reduce hygiene poverty by providing access to clean clothes, clean bedding and basic hygiene support. Our work is made possible by volunteers, donors, and community partners who believe every person deserves dignity and the opportunity to fully participate in school, work, and community life.

Purity Laundry Project serves under-resourced families and individuals throughout Sussex County, Delaware, by providing free laundry services for clothing and bedding. Our mission is to promote health, economic stability, and human dignity through access to clean garments and linens—a basic necessity often overlooked in the fight against poverty. By ensuring that families have clean, germ-free clothing and bedding, we help reduce financial strain and allow limited household funds to be redirected toward other essential needs such as food, housing, and healthcare.
