Mission: To advocate for individuals on the Autism Spectrum and their families, connecting them with resources and information, and building a community of mutual support.
Families affected by Autism need help and encouragement. Unfortunately, Maryland’s Eastern Shore families receive little attention compared with those west of the Bay but face the same issues. Membership in the Lower Shore Autism Community shall be open to all families with members on the Autism Spectrum and those invited by the board of directors. LSAC serves the Lower Shore of Maryland including Wicomico, Worcester, Dorchester & Somerset Counties.
We envision a world where individuals with Autism are respected for who they are and are supported in their quest to live full lives. Lower Shore Autism Community (LSAC) seeks everyone’s help in creating a new map and plan for people with Autism, one that helps Lower Shore families fund professional help and the social support they need for full lives.
