What We Do
Founded in 2017, Stories Love Music has improved the care and support of senior citizens through its program, The Joy of Creative Engagement for Caregivers they provide to both professional and family caregivers. Stories Love Music celebrates both music and story telling traditions in our history and their positive effects on emotional and physical health of our seniors and their caregivers. Our mission is: Reduce anxiety and depression of caregiver and senior citizen.Explore connection between music, storytelling and emotional health.Support caregivers in managing the reactive emotions of the seniors they care for and themselves. Provide caregivers tools for their own self-care and their caregiving which prevents long term burnout. Due to Covid-19 and the vulnerability of the populations we work with, our programs can be delivered both online and in-person.
