Volunteer: We are looking for a new Executive Director

Chesapeake Housing Mission, a growing and vibrant non-profit organization located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, is seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Director to lead our mission of providing critical home repair services to those in need.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record in fundraising, strategic leadership, operations management, and public speaking, who is committed to making a meaningful difference in our community.

Full-Time | Flexible Hours | Remote Work Option
Salary: $65,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary and strategic leadership to advance the mission of Chesapeake Housing Mission.Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors on governance, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives.Oversee all operational aspects of the organization, including programs, staff, and volunteers.Ensure the financial health of the organization through fundraising, budgeting, and financial oversight.Cultivate strong relationships with donors, community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.Represent the organization publicly through media, events, and speaking engagements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.Proven non-profit leadership experience with strong fundraising and development skills.Demonstrated ability to manage operations, lead teams, and work with diverse community partners.Excellent communication and public speaking skills.Microsoft Office proficiency.Must reside in one of the following counties: Dorchester, Somerset, Sussex, Wicomico, or Worcester.

Additional Details:

Full-time position with flexible hours.Remote work location available within the required geographic area.Salary starting at $65,000+, commensurate with experience.
