Over The Edge is an international special-events organization that partners with nonprofits to create unique building-rappel fundraising experiences. Participants raise funds for the opportunity to rappel down a building while supporting an important cause. United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore is going Over the Edge once again this year to help support our ALICE neighbors who work hard but struggle to afford the basics.
Becoming a rope volunteer is open to ANYONE with an enthusiastic and safety conscious mindset!
Ropes Volunteers play a crucial role in the safe and smooth operation of this large-scale rappelling fundraiser. Volunteers assist trained technical staff in managing ropes, equipment, participant flow, and safety checkpoints. No prior rope experience is required. (Training is provided)
