EMPTY BOWL DINNER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Empty Bowl Project helps benefit Diakonia, a housing program, located in Ocean City, MD., and the Art League of Ocean City. The soup dinner is scheduled for Friday, March 29th, and volunteers are needed from 4pm-9pm. that evening. The handmade pottery bowls were created at the Art League, and the soup is donated by local restaurants. There is continuous seating throughout the evening. Various duties will include greeting folks, seating folks for the dinner, clean-up and directing guests that evening. Those interested will be contacted for a scheduled volunteer orientation prior to the event. Your participation in this event benefits two local non-profits. It fills the food pantry at Diakonia and supports the missions of the Art League.
