Hello everyone,
We have a need for volunteers to assist with our Zoo Stampede and Earth Day event on Saturday, April 21st. We have 3 "shifts" that we could use assistance with.
- Zoo Stampede Course Guide: 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM. You will be standing at designated locations and helping guide the runners along the race course. We need 10 people for this shift.
- Earth Day Morning Shift: 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM. You will be attending a craft station, the bake sale, the face painting station, or the tattoo station. We need 16 people for this shift.
- Earth Day Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM. You will be attending a craft station, the bake sale, the face painting station, or the tattoo station. We need 16 people for this shift.
The Zoo Stampede Course Guides may also help with the Earth Day Morning Shift, but if you wish to sign up for both, please let us know so that our race coordinator can station you close to the craft area. You may also help with both the morning and afternoon shifts; the 1:00 - 1:30 PM overlap is simply to prevent any gaps between volunteers. ALL VOLUNTEERS, when you arrive you will see a sign-in station for volunteers inside the zoo at the East gate; if you do not sign in, you will not get hours.
