Saturday Distribution/Food Preparation
Each Saturday, volunteers with From Roots To Wings Inc, loads up the SUV with clothing, snack foods, toiletries and a hot meal, for delivery to our homeless friends who live on the streets and in the woods around Salisbury. We serve 30 - 50 friends each week.
We start at 9:30am, meeting at our storage unit, located off Marvel Road, and spend about 2.5 hours along a regular weekly route. We always need 2 volunteers to give out food, clothing, toiletries and snack foods items.
