VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
INFORMATION BOOTH ATTENDANT
-Welcome fair attendees as they enter the event
-Hand out fair programs
-Answer general fair questions (i.e. location of specific activities, restrooms, hours of operation, etc.)
PARKING ATTENDANT
-Directing fair attendee traffic through the parking lot
-Must be comfortable with standing outdoors for about a two hour time frame

How to I prepare?
Dress comfortably! This is an outdoor event and it may be warm & sunny so make sure you wear something comfortable for the weather, and make sure to wear sunscreen. You may want to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. If you are manning the Information Booth feel free to bring literature, brochures, etc. on your company to hand out.
Where do I park?
Please enter Winterplace Park via Hobbs Road and then turn onto Winterplace Parkway. Continue down Winterplace Parkway and turn left onto Blue Ribbon Road. There is parking available off of Winterplace Parkway and on Blue Ribbon Road.
Where do I report when I arrive?
Please report to the Wicomico Fair Information Booth (it will be located across the street from the parking lot on Blue Ribbon Road – look for the large red barn facade).
What is expected of me?
You are expected to be on time for your shift and stay for the duration of time that you signed up for. Please remember to be professional, courteous, and helpful to all fair patrons.
