This day began because a rapist was acquitted of raping an underage girl on appeal because the Chief Judge said that the victim wore very, very tight jeans. He believed she had to have helped him remove them. Therefore according to the Chief Judge, by helping him remove the jeans, it was consensual sex. The judge did not take into account that she removed her jeans because he threatened to kill her.
