The American Red Cross of Delmarva is planning and hosting a Home Fire Campaign in Crisfield, MD on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. We have reached out to local partners, community members, and our county government agencies. The biggest question we have is, Will you be there? This will be the largest Sound The Alarm event this territory has ever had, and we dare not to do this without you.
Volunteers will be going door to door in the Crisfield community installing smoke alarms in homes that need them. We will provide all of the necessary training and materials, all we need are the volunteers willing to do the work.
The event will start at the Woodrow Wilson Community Center located at 119 S. 7th Street, Crisfield, MD 21817. The event will launch at 9am and will go until all 330 units have been made safe. All info regarding this event will be sent out in an EAP that is currently being put together. Again we ask, Will you be there? Will you help us save lives? Will you assist with making homes safer? Can we count on you?
