MAC's first Summer Institute features 30 classes over 9 days on a wide variety of topics!
Day 5 (June 12) classes are:
"Delmarvans Go to War: The Civil War on Delmarva,” presented by Dr. G. Ray Thompson, retired, Salisbury University professor of history; 9-10:30 a.m.;
“The American Short Story,” presented by Nancy Hesser, Ph.D., Comparative Literature; 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.;
“Let’s Make a Salad,” presented by Heather Griswold, owner and organic gardener at Shore Ecoscapes; 1-2:30 p.m.;
“Scrapbooking: Borders and Beyond,” presented by Jennifer Johnson, local scrapbook enthusiast; 5-6:30 p.m.
The cost is $3 per class, and advance registration is suggested. Registration at the door will be available as space permits. Registration information, and descriptions of all Summer Institute classes, can be viewed online at macinc.org. Registration forms also are available at MAC.
