This spring, Ocean Pines and the Maryland Coastal Bays Program will be hosting a day of fun, hands-on activities, and educational talks about how watershed residents can make a difference right in their own backyards! We are pleased to announce that MD DNR’s Dave Brinker, UMD Extension’s Ginny Rosenkranz, and scientists from the Oyster Recovery Partnership will be joining us as environmental speakers at the event.
This day is sure to delight with free bay boat rides, the Burley Oak Beer Truck, a food garden, kids activities, environmental speakers, live music by the Blikenki's, hands-on demonstrations, nature crafts, dozens of educational booths, self-guided nature hikes, a recycling corner, and a local student art showcase…just to name a few!
