Bereavement Training for Volunteers

Specialized bereavement training is being offered to volunteers who have already completed the requirements to be a patient care volunteer.  Bereavement volunteers will make phone calls to family and friends at certain intervals to determine their well-being following the patient's death, hand scribe notes and cards, and assist with support/ social group activities and events like bereavement camp. Patient care volunteer training is being offered on November 2.
