Welcome to Medicare Class

Insurance can be confusing, and Medicare is no exception! MAC’s Welcome to Medicare class can provide the information you need. The free class is packed with information designed to help the public have a better understanding of the parts of Medicare and how they work, including timelines, costs, coverages, fraud, Advantage plans, supplemental plans, and what your rights are as a Medicare recipient. Welcome to Medicare is for individuals who are still working, are retired or who are on disability - for anyone who is getting ready to start Medicare. The next class will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Education Wing at MAC. Classes are presented by MAC’s State Health Insurance Program (SHIP).
