Who We Are

MAC Inc., the Area Agency on Aging, provides services for senior citizens in Wicomico, Somerset, Worcester and Dorchester counties. MAC services include Meals on Wheels, which delivers meals – and more – to frail and homebound seniors. Other services are health insurance counseling, Life Bridges dementia day program, caregiver support, volunteer programs, and Connections sites where seniors can participate in social, educational and recreational activities.
MAC is an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) and a designated Maryland Access Point site:
 
The Maryland Living Well Center of Excellence at MAC coordinates a variety of self-management education workshops, including hypertension, chronic pain and diabetes. Also part of the Living Well center is the Richard A. Henson Wellness Center, which includes a gym specially designed for those age 50 and older, and those with disabilities, and a variety of classes. Featured in the wellness center is the Alter-G anti-gravity treadmill.

Worcester counties on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. 

MAC assists and advocates for an aging population to live with dignity and thrive in their homes and communities. MAC is a private, non-profit charitable 501 C (3) organization and is proud to be a member agency of the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore.
