H.O.P.E. Ministries of Delmarva Inc.

We are group of 5 individuals that have been working at HALO ministries feeding the hungry for over 2 years. We all have a burden to see the hungry fed in our own community. So we started the H.O.P.E Ministries of Delmarva Inc. This is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization to start feeding the hungry in the Princess Anne community. We have been open serving hot meals in a restaurant style setting since January 2016. We are a Christ centered ministries that believes in being the hands and feet of Jesus by helping those in need.

We are open every Friday and Saturday evening, serving a hot meal from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. This is all done in a restaurant style setting where our guests are greeted with smiles and seated at a table. They are then attended to by servers and buss volunteers. They are served a hot meal with tea or water, dessert and given a bag lunch to take home for the following day. We have 4 core teams that oversee the food prep and managing the dinning room. Volunteers are needed to help serve, buss, fix drinks, and wash dishes. Volunteers arrive at 5 pm to help prep for the evening and we are usually done with clean up by 8 PM. This is also an excellent opportunity for school kids to work their community service hours.
