Wicomico Local Management Board

Maryland’s Local Management Boards are the neutral conveners in each jurisdiction to stimulate action by State and local government, public and private providers, business and industry, and community residents to build an effective system of services, supports, and opportunities that improve outcomes for children, youth, and families. The LMB plans, coordinates, implements, and manages a local inter-agency service delivery system for children, youth & families.

We identify priorities and target resources for our local community. The major focus is to increase local authority to plan, implement, and monitor children and family services. We bring together local child-serving agencies, local child providers, clients of services, families & other community representatives to empower local stakeholders in addressing the needs and setting priorities for our community.
