Who We Are

In collaboration with other organizations and through unending community support, we work to eliminate substandard housing by building decent, affordable homes for hardworking families in need.

By providing a hand-up rather than a hand-out,  Habitat helps families realize their dream of owning a home. Families who qualify are able to experience homeownership through a commitment of sweat equity; a 30-year, low interest mortgage; and the expectation that they will continue to support other Habitat projects.

What We Do

Since our inception in 1987, we have provided 90 families with safe, decent, and affordable homes. We do this by building or renovating homes and selling them at an affordable, low-interest mortgage. Our ReStores sell gently used housewares, furniture, appliances, and construction materials, and help fund our mission through the proceeds. Our administrative offices serve our Partner Families, raise funds, coordinate outreaches and events, and advocate in the community for affordable homeownership. Help our mission grow by volunteering to build, help in the ReStore, assist our administrative staff, or be a part of one of our fundraising events.

We aim to uphold its professionalism in all aspects of the work that we do, to honor the mission we follow and the families we serve. We ask all volunteers to be properly groomed and avoid wearing clothing that may be construed as offensive, too revealing, or inappropriate.
