Who We Are

Mission: To address human suffering and to promote and restore the well-being of people and society.

Catholic Charities, Inc. of the Diocese of Wilmington is a faith-based, social services organization delivering critical direct care human services annually to over 100,000 households residing in the State of Delaware and the nine counties of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, regardless of their religion, race, or ability to pay.

The Catholic Charities Seton Center is a multi-purpose neighborhood community center located in Princess Anne, MD.

What We Do

The Seton Center supports local residents by addressing their essential needs.

Our Services Include:

  • Basic Needs Assistance – Housing support, financial coaching, financial assistance and connections to internal and external programs and services, and a thrift center.

  • Family Support & Case Management – Strengthening families through personalized assistance.
  • Health & Wellness – Advocacy and referrals to essential services.
  • Emergency Food Pantry – the only pantry in Somerset County that is open Monday-Friday.  Offering 3 food programs to the community.
  • Emergency Homeless Shelter – Fall of 2024, Seton Center took over the previously named Lower Shore Shelter.  Now Bethany House is open to those experiencing homelessness.

Through comprehensive support and advocacy, we empower individuals and families to build stable and self-sufficient lives.
