Coastal Hospice

Coastal Hospice is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care, dignity, and comfort to individuals and families facing life-limiting illness. Serving Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore since 1980, our mission is rooted in helping patients live fully and comfortably—wherever they call home—while supporting their loved ones through every stage of care and grief. Our team of skilled professionals and devoted volunteers work together to ensure that no one faces serious illness or loss alone.

Coastal Hospice offers comprehensive hospice, palliative, and supportive care services designed to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families. We provide care in homes, nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and at our dedicated inpatient centers—Coastal Hospice at the Lake and Coastal Hospice at the Ocean. Beyond medical care, we offer grief support, volunteer opportunities, and community education, ensuring compassionate guidance and comfort for all who need it.
