Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore (BBBSES) matches youth in the community with caring adult volunteers who serve as mentors. Our two main programs are community based and school based. Community based matches meet on their own time 2-3 hours a month out in the community. Site based matches meet once a week at the school usually during recess or lunch. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore provides in depth case management to the children, mentors and the children’s families. BBBSES provides resources, enrichment and training to those involved in our program as well as to other youth serving agencies across the shore.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore’s mission is to ignite the power and promise of youth through mentoring relationships and enrichment. The agency provides professionally supported mentoring relationships and a broad range of services with quality standards and measurable impacts. The Salisbury office extends mentoring services, resources, and enrichment to Worcester, Wicomico, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot, Caroline, Queen Anne’s, Cecil and Kent Counties.
