Who We Are
Mission: To support and assist individuals and families who are unable to afford representation in civil legal matters and to provide connections to community services.
Shore Legal Access is a nonprofit legal aid organization dedicated to connecting limited-income individuals and families on Maryland’s Eastern Shore with volunteer attorneys and community resources to protect and advance economic stability. Founded in 2005, the organization was established by a group of local judges and attorneys who recognized the need for civil legal services among underserved populations. Shore Legal Access has been serving the Lower Shore from our Salisbury office since 2018.
What We Do
Shore Legal Access has been instrumental in bridging the justice gap for limited-income residents of the Eastern Shore. By connecting individuals with volunteer attorneys, we have facilitated access to essential legal services, thereby enhancing the economic stability and well-being of the communities we serve.
